12th century Lom Stave Church, Fossbergom, Norway

Lomskyrkja – the church in Lom – is one of the biggest and most beautiful stave churches in Norway. Built in 1158-59 and extended significantly in the mid-1600s, it is still the main church in Lom. This stave church is actually one of just a very few stave churches of which the original medieval crest with a dragon head still survives.
